UPDATED: I realize that not all families would like a 4x6 of each image, so along with the $100 session fee I will give you the option of the 4x6s or or a $40 print credit.
After looking at my prices and policies, the orders over the past 6 months, and through conversations with many clients, I have decided to make a change. I know that I have blogged about a few changes recently, but after a lot of consideration and factoring in the other things I just mentioned, this is what I have decided will work best.
Starting January 1, 2009, there will be a session fee of $100 AND you will receive 50-4x6s prints (I will show 50 images in your proof gallery). What will happen is that once your proofs are complete, I will order your 4x6s, ship them to you (free of charge), and place your proofs in the online gallery for your viewing and ordering (if you choose to order more). These 4x6s are your actual prints, not proofs, they will not be marked as proofs, and will be printed at the same professional lab on the same high quality paper as regular orders.
Session fees will be due at the start of the session (same session fee for studio or on location) and you will have your 4x6 prints within 1-2 weeks of your session. Your discounts (from signing release forms, entering contests, etc.) can be applied to the session fee.
If you currently have a session scheduled, or have contacted me to schedule a session, then this will not affect you. However, this is a great deal so if you want to pay the session fee and receive the 50-4x6 prints guaranteed, then you may certainly go that route!
